The more water we use – the more we pay
Water is one of the most valuable natural resources we have. It is vital to all life on the planet. However, available Australian water supplies are being stretched to the limit.
To help conserve these precious water resources, Governments at all levels are reviewing the way in which we pay for our water. Australian families now pay for their water in the same way as they pay for their telephone and electricity.
The advantage of this new system is that if you are an efficient water user then you’ll no longer be subsidising other people’s wasteful habits. And there are lots of ways to use less water and thereby save money around your home.
